Practical differences
Seating and family use
The Jetour G700 has seven seats; the MHERO 817 MAX has five. If you regularly carry more than five people, that settles it.
Electric driving
The MHERO 817 MAX is quoted at 110 km of CLTC pure-electric range from its 31.7 kWh battery, which could cover many daily trips on electricity alone. We do not yet have a confirmed electric-only range for the G700, so ask us before relying on it.
Power and long trips
The G700 is quoted at 904 hp and 1,135 Nm, against 700+ hp for the MHERO. For long journeys, the MHERO's combined claimed range is up to 1,300 km versus up to 1,000 km for the G700.
Off-road and manoeuvring
Both use air suspension. The G700 adds body-on-frame construction, an electronic differential lock, tank turn and a claimed 900 mm wading depth. The MHERO's rear-wheel steering and crab walk make it easier to place in tight Beirut streets and on narrow trails.
